The Marsh floor mirror plays with elements that are recurrent in Beth Webb’s body of work texture tension and serene tones. The scale of this full length carved wood mirror which was inspired by a contemporary Italian woodworker carries gravitas as though it is a piece of sculpture in itself. The deeply grooved patterns in the wood juxtapose the slick mirror. Suitable for hanging or leaning on a wall it could equally be hinged and transformed into a folding screen.
